Never guess your next track again.
Segue sits beside Rekordbox and watches your decks live. The moment a track loads, it scores your entire library by key, tempo, energy, and genre — so the next move is always one drag away.
Three things happen while you mix.
No plugin inside Rekordbox, no exported playlists to babysit. Segue runs alongside your set and does the boring part of crate-digging for you.
It watches what's loaded.
Segue reads Rekordbox's on-screen deck info the instant a track loads or changes — no reconfiguring your setup, no extra window to manage mid-set.
Every track gets ranked, live.
Harmonic key compatibility, BPM proximity, energy curve, and genre match are recalculated the moment your current track changes.
Straight onto the deck.
Pull the top match onto an empty deck like any other file. No alt-tabbing, no scrolling a 10,000-track crate under low light.
Built to sit next to Rekordbox, not replace it.
A small panel, always on top, always current. This is what it looks like mid-set — example library shown below.
One license. One Mac. Yours to keep.
Buy it once, use it every gig.
- 7-day free trial, no card required
- Locked to one Mac — deactivate anytime to move it to a new one

Before you install it
Does Segue need special permissions?
Yes — macOS Accessibility access, so it can read Rekordbox's on-screen deck state. Segue never modifies Rekordbox itself, and it can't see anything outside Rekordbox's window.
What do I need to get started?
Export your Rekordbox collection as XML (File → Export Collection in rekordbox), then point Segue at that file once. It stays loaded after that.
Do I need Mixed In Key?
Not strictly, but for the best recommendations, yes. Segue's key and energy matching only ever reads what's already tagged in your Rekordbox library — it doesn't analyze audio itself. Mixed In Key is the standard tool DJs use to tag tracks with accurate Camelot keys and energy ratings, so the more of your library it's covered, the sharper Segue's picks will be.
Can I move my license to a new Mac?
Yes. Deactivate it from the old machine under Segue's Help menu, then activate the same key on the new one — no need to contact support for a routine switch.
What if it's not for me?
Try it free for 7 days first. If you've already bought it, reach out within your first week and we'll sort out a refund.
What Segue does and doesn't send anywhere
Segue is a small, single-purpose utility built to respect your library, not collect it.
What we collect
Your Mac's hardware identifier — not personal, not tied to your name — used only to enforce the one-computer license and track your 7-day trial. It's sent to our license server on activation and periodically while the app is open. Your license key is sent the same way, to verify it against Gumroad's records. If you email support, whatever you write in that email.
What we never collect
Your Rekordbox library. Segue reads your exported XML file and watches Rekordbox's on-screen deck info entirely on your own Mac — none of it is ever sent anywhere. No analytics, no tracking, no usage telemetry.
Third parties involved
Gumroad handles payment and checkout for your purchase. Supabase hosts the small database that remembers your hardware ID and which license key it's bound to. Neither sees your Rekordbox library.
